Once a Upon a Time

This is a painting I made one time and even though
it's not that great I like it a lot. The blue of the water,
the purple of the mountians, and the yellow of the sun are beauitiful.
A vibriant rainbow floods the scene making it look like
something from a storybook.

Ewww . . . Something Smells Bad!

Have you ever had one of those days where everything and I mean EVERYTHING goes wrong? Ahh, man, I have. Matter of fact, I had one of those stinky days today. For starters, I woke up kind of late today; not as bad as yestherday but nonetheless waking up late is something that makes me feel like I'll have a horrible day ahead of me. It turns out I had set the alarm clock for p.m. instead of a.m. Go figure!
Anyways, then pretty much a lot of stuff in our house broke down. Such as the keyboard on the computur was not working right. It wouldn't type the letter "h." I did not have the best driving expereince today either. I won't go into details but let's just say I meant to press the brake and I stomped on the gas. Opps! Not good. My day kept going so much down hill that I just wanted to throw my hands up and cry, "I wish this day was over!"
It makes me glad life here on earth is not all there is! Thankfully, we have a great future of hope to look forwards to spending heaven and eternity with Jesus. The days that just plain smell bad and stink won't go on forever. Life here does not last. But eternity will.
Make sure you are making wise choices today (not tommorow) about where you will spend eternal life.

Tragic Way

by Bethany Bell

Along the tragic way
I go a walkin'
I look all around me to see people so lost
Willing to find their acceptance at any cost

They seek to find their innocence
they seem to have lost
Lost along the way, the weary way

Won't anyone help them?
Or am I all alone?
Won't anybody lift a hand to save them
From this darkest pit?

Oh, Lord, would you please help me?
Help me to see through mt hyprocrisy?
For I am telling them, "Go, go and love some broken soul"
When at times I am not doing the same

They are smoking
They are drinking
They are hurting

They are lonely
They are crying
They are dying

Father, would you please
Draw them tight?
Give me the ablity it takes to reach them
Give me the compassion it takes to see them
